In October 2024, I was tasked with creating an original design for the cover, table of contents, and marketing materials for a special edition of Natural Gas Intelligence Inc’s MGPI newsletter, based on the title Flipping the Switch.

Brainstorming phase


In this initial phase, I was referencing the past few special edition designs (right) to make sure to keep things on-brand, while searching for images & concepts (left) to use in this new design and for inspiration.


As I worked to refine my idea, I added versions to this board so that I could compare the images side-by-side and make adjustments.
